"Otis" Maybach Auctioned for $60,000

Many of us saw The Throne's "Otis" video and wondered what would become of that homemade Maybach dune buggy. Well, now we know the answer. The Maybach sold for $60,000 in New York last week. The car was expected to go for $100,000 - $150,000. A portion of the proceeds went to Save the Children.

Taz has made a mark on the world in his young career. The visionary is responsible for curating the Ti$A line but he also has built a strong rapport in the music community working with the Kanye's, the J-Dilla's, and the Erykah's of the world. I remember back in about '06 the group Sa-Ra did a couple of things that were pretty dope. One this LP the fashion guru introduces a new style of music that he labels "designer music." Give it a listen.
